According to the properties of the radioactive nuclides, the samples are pre-treated by combustion, acid reaching, alkali fusion, or dissolution assisted by microwave heating. α- and β-ray emitting nuclides are separated by a Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) method and subsequently measured.
