A positron beam with a high spin polarization of 47% is irradiated on the iron sample. The spin direction of electrons in the iron sample is changed by an external magnetic field. As positrons and electrons are easily annihilate when their spin directions are antiparallel, the state of the electron spin that relates to the magnetism can be evaluated by measuring the difference in the intensity of γ rays in (1) and (2).
