In the “JOYO” reactor vessel, the lower part of the upper core structure was damaged and the MARICO-2 test subassembly was bent and extruded from a transfer pot. In the area where the UCS makes contact with the MARICO-2 test subassembly, the operation of a rotating plug (UCS was installed in the rotating plug) for fuel-exchange work had to be restricted.
