In accordance with the lessons learned from the accident at TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS) (FDNPS) and the trend of utilization of nuclear energy, we prioritize the pillars of research activities on the application of risk information, optimization of emergency preparedness and responses, long-term operation of nuclear power plants (NPPs), and environmental safety.
