The nuclear data library JENDL-5 is a database compiling the latest experimental data and the knowledge of nuclear reaction model calculations. It comprises input data of simulation calculations for nuclear energy and radiation-utilization as shown on the right-hand side of the figure. As an example, the energy-dependent probability of neutron-induced fission of uranium 235 is shown by a red line at the center of the figure. This type of data that depends greatly on neutron energy is crucial for ensuring the reliability of simulation calculations.
