A neutron-focusing lens has been developed using 110 multi-capillary glass fibers with a length of 140 mm and a diameter of 0.5 mm. Each fiber contains 1,200 hollow channels with a diameter of 10 micrometer. Fig. 11-7 shows the converging images obtained along the principal axis. Neutron convergence was clearly confirmed at a focal point 50 mm from the exit.
